Track and Field

The final sport of our school year is upon us.... Track and Field. Our season will kick off next Monday. Any student who wishes to be on this year's team must participate in the 2 week training camp.,,,even ball throwers. We are looking for dedicated students who can make a full commitment to the team. We will try our best to get every student who comes out to practice a spot on the team. You will have at least 2 opportunities to run... at lunch and after school.

On Monday, please meet your coaches at the back of the gym. Let's go Cards! 

ECO WEEK AWARD

Congratulations to Grace Grant for being our weekly Eco-friendly student of the week. She has made a difference in our school and made the world a better place. Come see Mr. Adams later in the afternoon for your prize.

E-Waste Tragedy

We are excited to share with you an Earth Day video called E-Waster Tragedy it is a film that has been shared with us from - Planet In Focus.  

If any Grade 8 classes are interested in seeing this film, we will meet in the auditorium at 9:30 this morning.  It is a 70 min film.

Thursday ANNOUNCEMENT

Wow the Grade 8 Cardinal badminton team stepped up at the annual Wecdsb tourney. Our team won the finalist banner in a great day of badminton... We had several medalists.. Meena and Paige won silver in girls doubles.
Bailey and Ryle won bronze in Girls doubles.
Tate and Calvin won silver in boys doubles.
Connor won silver in boys singles.
Jacob and Greer won silver in mixed doubles.
Mr Adams and Miss Scott is so proud of this team. Every team won at least 3 games. Way to go cards !

Run Club

Thanks to all those that came last week to Run Club.  What a great way to kick start your fitness goals.  We are going again this week, today and Friday.  We will offer two start times this week 12:00 and 12:20.  So main campus students you are welcome to meet us at the back doors of the gym by the change rooms at 12:00 and then head to your other clubs or to eat.  Morning academy students when you arrive back to main campus, please feel free to join us at the 12:20 start time.  Look forward to seeing you there.

WEDNESDAY ANNOUNCEMENT

Attention CCMS students.  The SoccerDodgeBall tournament will continue today.  All students who have signed up are asked to report to the gym at 12:15 so that we can get the games started right away.  All teams will play today.
