Poetry Challenge Result

Thanks to all of the classes that submitted a poem for the Easter Poetry Challenge.  The creativity displayed was marvelous and the rhymes were tactical.  The top 2 poems were almost split with support votes.

Congratulations to the following winners:

In 3rd place, and earning 20 milk bags, was Mr. Siddall's class poem, entitled "He's a She".  The second place price of 30 milk bags goes to Mr. Charrette's class, and the 1st place prize of 50 milk bags goes to Mrs. Muldoon's rap group.

Thanks again.  We hope the task was fun!

Badminton

Today the Grade 7's will be participating in Badminton House Leagues.

There is a Grade 8 Badminton practice tonight after school.

DEBATE CLUB

Wow what a turn out for the Debate Club! We had 22 students participating in the newsly formed team. Our debates are set for next Tuesday. Those interested can join us in Room 15 next Tuesday.

Also the comic book club will have its first meeting tomorrow for those interested in reading or riding Comic books. Please meet in Room 15 tomorrow at 12:20.

Frozen Yogurt

As our winter weather departs and spring arrives we will be welcoming the season with FROZEN YOGURT sales once again.  We will have a varied selection and they will be sold at the start of our lunch just outside the office.  Bring your $2.00 and enjoy!

Chess Tournament

Congrats to CCMS students who competed in the Windsor Chess Challenge tournament over the weekend. Matthew Taylor and Ray Hamlin qualified to compete at the next level. Way to go CCMS Cardinals!

Grade 8 Badminton

There is a Grade 8 Badminton practice on Wednesday after school. Remember this is the tourney to make the team. You may have to stay until 5 pm if the tournament runs longer.

Debate Club

There is a Debate Club meeting today at 12:20 pm in Room 15. All students are welcome to join us.
